Now that we’re halfway through the month of October 2019, Halloween is just around the corner. As the date draws nearer and nearer, we’re gearing up for the holiday with all kinds of great events right here in town. We figured we’d highlight a few of the best Lincolnwood IL events in this blog for you to consider checking out, but if we miss any, don’t be afraid to leave us a comment below!
Fall Movie in the Park
Head to the Proesel Park Shelter on Friday, October 18th at 5:30 p.m. to enjoy s’mores and the Halloween classic Hocus Pocus. Feel free to dress up in your costumes and come have a good time with the whole family!
Pumpkins in Proesel Park
That following Sunday, Oct. 20th, the town will be having a general fall event at the Park Picnic Shelter located at 6915 N. Kostner Ave. While this isn’t exactly a Halloween event, we didn’t want to ignore the two hours of fun and games, including a bounce house and much more, from 1-3 p.m. Besides, the flyer says costumes are encouraged, which makes it a Halloween even in our eyes!
Six Flags Fright Fest
Want to let your teenagers have a fun, festive experience? Consider letting them attend this year’s Halloween Teen Trip to Fix Flags Great America’s Fright Fest on the 25th. You can find out more information on the event site, but the cost of registration includes transportation, admission and check-in supervision so make sure your kids have extra money for dinner and haunted houses.
Finally, on Halloween itself, you can head to the Proesel Park Family Aquatic Center between the hours of 5 and 7 p.m. for the Trunk-or-Treat event. This is a fun and safe alternative (or addition) to regular trick-or-treating that’s perfect for the whole family.
However or whenever you decide to celebrate Halloween this year, we simply hope you have a great time. Happy Halloween from all of us here at Loeber Porsche!
